With over 40 years farriery experience, Steve is a highly respected craftsman in the trade. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside some of the most recognised names in the industry, including Keith Swan and Dr. Reg Pasco.

Steve’s depth of knowledge and calm, professional approach have earned him the trust of horse owners across all disciplines—from performance horses to paddock companions.

With a deep understanding of Equine biomechanics and a passion to help improve and maintain the hoof in a holistic approach.

Carly

Carly brings over 30 years of hands-on experience in the horse industry.

A qualified equine nurse, Carly’s background in equine health gives her a unique, holistic perspective on farriery. Farriery is her chosen profession and passion. Her commitment to the craft is evident in everything she does.

Carly recently served as President of the Professional Farriers & Blacksmiths Association of Queensland (PFBAQ), the largest farrier association in Australia—a testament to her leadership and dedication to industry standards and education. She is also a multi-award-winning competitor, with titles including Intermediate Farrier/Shoeing Champion at both the Ekka Australasian Championships and New Zealand National Championships.

Can’t recommend enough!!

I’m not often one to write a review… but ohhh Lordy….I had a sample for after the cyclone as my horses rain scald and greasy heel was appalling!… I was using the zinc aid on all of his wounds and a few other problem areas, and I can’t recommend this product enough!! It’s like liquid gold in zinc form!! The healing has been impeccable, and it now has to be a staple in the first aid box!! Applying through the wet weather had the rain repelling off the problem areas! This is liquid gold, I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!!

Hi Carly - thanks so much for the zinc, we’ve been using it on Motown’s legs after this last lot of rain and his greasy heel has improved out of sight! It’s an awesome barrier to protect the wounds from more infection and doesn’t come off in the wet, I’ve been applying it every second day for a week with excellent results. Sadly I forgot to take ‘before’ pics but his legs were very swollen and sore, these pics were taken today one week after starting the zinc treatment. Now I’ll be able to use it to prevent the great heel from even starting. Thanks again. Kyla

Thanks for coming to the rescue Carly. We had some nasty cases of greasy heal thanks to Alfred and some knockout humidity. Great results and some way happier and more comfortable horses.
